A Great Big Thank You to Gary Heaslip and Kristin Henry Scott who headed up a great country band to bring us a wonderful, relaxed (can't we all use more of that!) night of entertainment at the October Trinity House Party. Thank you too to Olly Strong (pedal steel guitar), Fred Smith (guitar, banjo and vocals), Brandon Muir (drums), and Ian Leith (fiddle). Also, to all the ladies who made all that great pie! And not a raison pie in sight, either. Hmmmm. And thank you to everyone who came out to support the on going work of our pastoral charge, work done by the community, in the community, for the community. The music for the evening was a mix of country tunes, but this Kris Kristofferson gospel classic closed out the show.

And thank you to Nathan Smith, singer, mandolin player, vocalist, and all around wonderful person who came out to both churches on Thanksgiving Weekend to co minister the service with his gift of song. It was also the Sunday we celebrated the 143rd Anniversary of Primrose United Church. This tune was requested at close of service, encouraging Brianna Brown to break out her step dancing moves. There are always these lovely little surprises at Primrose. If you are looking for a small, intimate, early Sunday morning service, look no further than our 9:10 gathering at Primrose - a sweet little church in the country, with a beautiful meditation garden - and a big heart.

We are excited to add yoga to our spiritual tool kit at Trinity with gatherings on Monday and Wednesday evenings under the the graced leadership of Alex Leikermoser. Alex is a gifted teacher, patient with older folk, and a strong teacher for the younger crowd. If the word yoga puts you off, think of it as ‘spiritual stretching’ and you will understand just what Alex offers us. See below Alex's class outline for keeping us all sane through the holidays.
